EstateMatcher is not an Estate Agent, and as such offers a completely impartial service to all its users. By allowing a broad range of Estate Agents to display their properties on our site free of charge, we aim to give the buyer a broad range of choice in their chosen area.

- I’m interested in a property, what do I do next?
If you’ve found a property you’re interested in, the next step is easy. Simply register with us by entering your e-mail address and choosing a password. An e-mail will be sent to you immediately for verification, and after this step your account is set up. Once registered, you can contact the agent of any property and set up a viewing.

- Why should I add my properties to a shortlist?
This is a unique tool allowing you to see the properties that you are keen to view, making your search fast and efficient.
Simply add and remove up to 5 desired properties to your shortlist as you browse different property pages on the site.
Once you have selected properties that interest you, you may then hit the 'Contact Agent' button. This will inform the relevant property agent about your interest and they may be in touch to discuss the property and possibly arrange a viewing.
Simultaneously, an e-mail message will be sent to you giving you the contact details of the estate agents that manage your short-listed properties, allowing you to contact the agent and ask further questions directly.

- Can I contact EstateMatcher directly to find a property?
EstateMatcher is not an Estate Agent. We rely on people to use the power of the internet via our sophisticated map and search systems to find the properties which suit their needs. As EstateMatcher displays properties from a wide range of areas, we are aware that only an estate or letting agent who will have vital knowledge of both property and location can give the best advice. However, do not hesitate to contact us with any queries.

If you have a property to sell or let, why register with a dozen local estate agents when you can simply fill in one form and register with them all at once?
Fill in the form provided in the ‘Local Estate Agents’ section and we will send your details to selected local estate agents that we work with and have a good track record. They may then contact you and arrange a valuation of your property and discuss their terms of business, etc.
It is often advisable to get in touch with several agents in this way, so you get a range of opinions and valuations for your property.

Therefore, our policy of impartiality means that we do not advertise any estate or letting agents on our website, allowing the buyer or seller to make a decision based on the suitability of the agent for their needs.

EstateMatcher aims to make searching for a property as simple as possible. This is why we employ the use of Cookies, which means that every time you return to the site, it recognises your previous search details and displays the area last searched for on the map.

- When I type in the location on the home page, the map doesn’t change. How do I fix this?
This can sometimes happen with this type of application. However, the problem should be rectified by pressing the refresh button.
